Purpose

Learners needed a concise, interactive way to engage with content that traditionally relied on static slides or in-person delivery. The goal was to demonstrate how digital training experiences can increase participation, retention, and accessibility while integrating seamlessly with learning management systems.

Audience

This module is appropriate for corporate learners who benefit from short, targeted instructional experiences. It is designed to be lightweight, device-friendly, and easy to deploy for onboarding, compliance, or skills-based microlearning.

My Role/Responsibilities

- Designed a learner-centered microlearning experience using Lumi’s H5P interactive tools
- Created engaging interactions (knowledge checks, hotspots, branching, or scenario elements depending on module content)
- Ensured technical compatibility with LMS platforms through SCORM export
- Conducted usability testing to verify navigation, accessibility, and device responsiveness
- Packaged and prepared the module for LMS hosting to model end-to-end delivery

Design and Development Process

Analysis: Identified the instructional goal and selected a microlearning modality to support fast, high-impact engagement.

Design: Outlined the content structure, interaction types, and user flow to keep information bite-sized and intuitive.

Development: Built the module in Lumi using H5P activities, visuals, and embedded assessments.

Implementation: Tested and exported the module in SCORM format to verify smooth integration with LMS platforms.

Evaluation: Refined layout, pacing, and interaction after test-user feedback to enhance clarity and engagement.

The final deliverable is a short, interactive e-learning module that demonstrates modern digital learning design. Key features include:

Challenge
